Aguas Calientes is the old name of town of Machu Picchu , place where tourist services such as the train station, hotels, restaurants are located.

Close to the town of Machu Picchu are the hot springs that still have the name of Aguas Calientes.

The hot springs of Aguas Calientes are at a distance of 800 m. to the east of the town of Machu Picchu, under the sulfur land are the hot springs that sprout from the rocks at different temperatures. The pools specially built in this resort are used as a hot mineral water bath.
